SkillsFuture Singapore, in support of Lifelong Learning Institute hosted the annual SkillsFuture Festival held at Kim San Leng Bishan coffeeshop – the first of its kind!. This year, they are excited to include a segment on Enterprise Series targeted to address challenges of the SMEs during this period of digital transformation.

There is an ongoing digital revolution and the rapid advancements in digital technology is transforming the way we live, work and play. We envision a Smart Nation powered by digital innovation and a world-class city with a healthy and happy workforce with an improved environment.

However, what does the Future of Retail means to these SMEs? What is Future of Retail the SMEs envisage?

 

In the Enterprise Series, they invited guest speakers to share on actual case studies on how they have braved the waves of this digital transformation and how they have incorporated and embraced this transformation.

Health Promotion Board will also shared on the importance of a healthy and happy workforce which includes free body check-up for participants present on that day.

It was fun hosting for Future of Retail event. Thank you SkillsFuture for having me! I also learned a lot from the speakers who share their expertise on how to address the challenges of SME’s during this period of digital transformation.

Sharlyn is a multi-talented artiste who has hosted several TV programmes on the local TV station and was offered a Radio DJ contract by FM88.3. She eventually turned it down as she does not want to confine behind 4 walls of a recording studio, choosing to get out and meet people from all walks of life.
